Celebrating Inclusion
For the past 18 years, to celebrate May as Community Living Month in Ontario, we’ve invited mayors and council members from municipalities across Essex County, where we provide support to residents, to join us for the Mayors Luncheon.
This event has been a great opportunity for local politicians to meet people we support in their community. It also allows for the communities we work with to find out what goals we have accomplished, and what the coming year holds for us. Also invited are community leaders from various businesses and organizations we currently work with and hope to partner with. This offers a fantastic means for networking with others who attend.
The Mayors Luncheon allows us the opportunity to connect with our communities and update them on our current progress and future plans such as strategic planning, advocacy work, membership and upcoming events such as our Annual General Meeting and fundraiser’s such as our Charity Golf Classic and Ruthven Apple Festival.
