The Amherstburg Heroes Athletic Club is changing their name to the Essex County Heroes Athletic Club and expanding to the Essex area!
The club, known for the past decade as the Amherstburg Heroes Athletic Club, will continue to hold its Wednesday night basketball sessions at General Amherst High School but starting Feb. 9th, basketball nights will also be held at Colchester North Public School every Tuesday. The Heroes is a joint partnership with Community Living Essex County and the Amherstburg Police Service. Anyone wishing to sign up or volunteer just needs to show up on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8pm.
