Movie Night in the Park presented by Community Living Windsor

Friday, September 7 | 8:00pm
Willistead Park, Niagara St., Windsor

Enjoy a FREE screening of Disney’s Moana outdoors in historic Willistead Park! Bring your own blanket or lawn chair and Community Living Windsor will bring the refreshments & popcorn! This event is open to everyone!  There are paved pathways throughout the park and accessible parking is available.

Optional donation: one canned good for the Downtown Mission.

Bridgefest 2018

The Bridge Youth Centre, 310 Sherk St., Leamington

Youth ages 14-24 are invited come out to #Bridgefest2018! There will be FREE hotdogs and hamburgers, a pie eating contest, trivia, live music and more!  The Bridge is fully accessible.

Dark Sky Night & ‘Let’s Get Batty’ at Point Pelee National Park

Saturday, September 8 | 7:30pm-midnight
Point Pelee National Park, 1118 Point Pelee Dr, Leamington

Get BATTY at Point Pelee National Park on Saturday, September 8! The park is staying open late to give visitors a chance to see the bats that call Point Pelee home.  Meet at the Visitor Centre at 7:30 for a presentation and a guided night hike!
Regular admission applies.  There are accessible trails throughout portions of the park.

Fall Outdoor Flea Market at Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village

Hunt for treasures at the Fall Outdoor Flea Market at the CTMHV!
Admission is $3 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under.  The CTMHV has generously waived the entrance fee for support staff who are attending with people receiving supports.

Wheelchair Basketball

September 18-May 14 (Tuesdays from 6:30pm-9:00pm)
Sainte-Therese Elementary School, 5305 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor

Registration is open for the Rose City Riot Para-Sports Club Wheelchair Basketball!
Cost is $250 for the season.  No experience necessary.

FREE – Hillman Marsh Nature Hike

Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, 1826 Mersea Rd 2, Leamington, ON.  

Join ERCA and experts from the Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club on a nature hike at Hillman Marsh Conservation Area! This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet new people and explore the marsh. Bring your binoculars!

Open Streets Windsor

Various locations throughout Windsor

Open Streets is a program where city streets are opened to people and closed to cars. The streets become “paved parks” where visitors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds come together to enjoy healthy and fun physical and recreational outdoor activities!
