Soirée Coffee House

The Tecumseh Cultural and Arts Advisory Committee, in partnership with l’Essor Catholic Secondary School, are holding a FREE Soirée Coffee House to showcase local talent. This event takes place at the Tecumseh-l’Essor Arts Centre, located at 13605 St. Gregory in Tecumseh, and is wheelchair accessible.

University of Windsor Science Rendezvous

Saturday, May 12 10:00am-4:00pm
Attend this FREE science festival at The University of Windsor, open to everyone passionate about science and discovery! Demonstrations and exhibits will be happening all day! This is a great event for children & teens, or people of all ages with an interest in science!  This event is wheelchair accessible and takes place in the Education Gym and CAW Centre.

Art Exhibition at LaSalle Civic Centre

Tuesday, May 15 6:00-8:00pm
Check out this FREE Art Exhibition, featuring works from students at Villanova Secondary School. There will also be interactive art, food & music!  The LaSalle Civic Centre is wheelchair accessible and is located at 5950 Malden Rd.

Dark Sky Night at Point Pelee National Park

Saturday, May 19
Point Pelee National Park is open until midnight on Saturday May 19. Explore the park after dark and experience the dark skies of Point Pelee! Regular park entrance fees apply.  There are wheelchair accessible trails throughout the park.

Victoria Day Fireworks – Tecumseh

Sunday, May 20 9:00pm
Celebrate Victoria Day at Green Acres Park in St.Clair Beach with fireworks presented by The Optimist Club – St. Clair Beach.The park will open at 6:00pm for music, food & fun!

Check out some muscle cars & classics at Gil Maure Park in LaSalle (1010 Front Rd)! Admission is $5 per person. Food & drinks will be available for purchase.

Urban Poling in Tecumseh

All summer long!
The town of Tecumseh is offering FREE use of walking poles, so you can turn a walk into a full body workout! Poles are now available at the Lakewood Café, located at 13451 Riverside Dr E, during operating hours.  Poles will also be available at the Tecumseh Leisure Pool office at Lacasse Park, during operating hours, as of June 2.  A piece of ID is required to rent the poles.
