Free Swimming & More!

FREE Community Swimming at St. Clair College
Sundays (until end of March) | 1:00pm-3:00pm
St. Clair College, 2000 Talbot Road West, Windsor

St. Clair College has FREE community swimming every Sunday from 1pm-3pm until the end of March.

Swimming is open to all ages.

Please note, there is a lift at the pool for those needing assistance to get into the water.  St. Clair College asks that if someone requires a support worker, there is one in the pool with them.


Christmas Cookie Exchange
Wednesday, November 28 | 7:00pm-9:00pm
McGregor Columbian Club, 9560 Walker Rd., McGregor

Bake your favourite cookie recipe to share with 100 people, and take a variety of 100 cookies home with you!  A $10 donation for Epilepsy South Western Ontario is required.  Enjoy an evening of coffee, tea and company and go home with 100 cookies for the holidays!

River Lights Winter Festival Opening Night

Downtown Amherstburg

River Lights Winter Festival’s opening night takes place on November 17. Check out the 100’s of LED light displays, opening of the Gingerbread Warming House with crafts and gingerbread house displays, an outdoor movie, 5K Super Santa Run, the municipal tree lighting and fireworks!

McGregor Columbian Club Cornhole League

Join members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Windsor Centre for an evening of stargazing. Bring your own binoculars or take a look through one of the special telescopes on site for the evening.

FREE – Hillman Marsh Nature Hike

Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, 1826 Mersea Rd 2, Leamington, ON

Join ERCA and experts from the Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club on a nature hike at Hillman Marsh Conservation Area! This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet new people and explore the marsh. Bring a flashlight and binoculars if you have them!

Hill Marsh trails are mainly mowed grass, along with some gravel. There is a wheelchair accessible nature centre, where there will be an after-hike social. The washrooms are also accessible.

The hike will take place rain or shine.

Open Streets Windsor

Open Streets is a program where city streets are opened to people and closed to cars. The streets become “paved parks” where visitors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds come together to enjoy healthy and fun physical and recreational outdoor activities!

Labour Day Weekend in Essex County

Harrow Fair

Celebrate the 164th Harrow Fair! Enjoy farm equipment displays, local fruits & vegetables, farm animals, live musical performances and a midway with carnival games and rides! The annual parade takes place on Saturday morning at 11:30am.

Grab a lawn chair and watch classic cars go by! The Ouellette Car Cruise kicks off its parade of classic and vintage vehicles at 6:00 pm in the heart of downtown Windsor. The route runs south from Ouellette Avenue to Tecumseh Road East, east to Pillette Road and west on Riverside Drive to Ouellette Avenue.

Pathway to Potential is sponsoring FREE fitness classes on Tuesday evenings in Leamington! The classes are welcoming to all fitness levels, and instructors are able to make modifications to those who require a variation to the exercise.  Bootcamp @ the Beach is a bit more rigorous than the other classes.  The classes meet in the upper Marina Park area (Rick Atkin Park) which is accessible by wheelchair.  Wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and prepare to have fun!
