Late Winter Fun
Maple Syrup Festival
March 2 & 3 | 11am-4pm
John R. Park Homestead, 15 Essex County Rd 50, Essex
Celebrate the end of winter and take part in a time-honoured tradition! At the Maple Syrup Festival you’ll have the chance to make maple taffy in the snow, see syrup being made and learn the science of maple!
Buildings and washrooms at John R. Park Homestead are wheelchair accessible, however the grounds are a park-like setting and pathways are not paved. For people with mobility issues, it is recommended to arrive early as the on-site parking fills quickly.
Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children. John R. Park Homestead has generously waived admission fees for support staff attending with someone they support. Support staff will need to self-identify to the admission volunteers.
