Art in the Park

Willistead Park, Windsor
Art in the Park is one of Ontario’s largest arts and craft shows! This two day event features art, crafts, clothing and more for sale, along with live music and food available for purchase. There are accessible trails throughout the park. Admission is $5 per person and can be paid at the entrance.

Walking With Friends

Every Monday, beginning June 4 | 7:00pm
Lakeside Park, 315 Queen Street, Kingsville
Join Andrew Banar of Group Hug Apparel and his Walking with Friends group every Monday evening at 7pm! The walks are FREE and open to everyone! Bring a bottle of water and make sure you wear comfortable clothings & your walking shoes.

Urban Poling in Tecumseh

All summer long!
Lakewood Café, 13451 Riverside Dr E & Lacasse Park Leisure Pool, 590 Lacasse Boulevard
The town of Tecumseh is offering FREE use of walking poles, so you can turn a walk into a full body workout! Poles are now available at the Lakewood Café, during operating hours. Poles will also be available at the Tecumseh Leisure Pool office at Lacasse Park, during operating hours, as of June 2. A piece of ID is required to rent the poles.

The annual Strawberry Festival has something for everyone, including games, rides music and food! Admission is $5, and free for those under 6 and over 65. Please note that duffel bags, backpacks, large bags or any other carrying containers are not be allowed inside the LaSalle Strawberry Festival. Medical bags are allowed.

Leamington FREE Summer Concert Series – The Sheepdogs

Seacliff Park Ampitheatre, Seacliff Dr W & Forest Ave, Leamington
Watch Canadian classic rock band, The Sheepdogs, perform outdoors at the new Ampitheatre in Leamington. This is a FREE show. Wheelchair accessible seating is available, but limited, so it is recommended you arrive early if you require it. Gates open at 6pm and concert starts at 7pm.

Celebrate Canada Day Weekend at a FREE concert at the Leamington Ampitheatre. The WSO will be performing music from hit movies, including Ghostbusters & Life of Pi! Wheelchair accessible seating is available, but limited, so it is recommended you arrive early if you require it.


Windsor Lawn Bowling Club – Summer League

Thursdays from July 5 – August 23 | 12:15pm – 1:45pm
Windsor Lawn Bowling Club, 2 Memorial Drive, Windsor (Jackson Park)
Do you have an interest in joining a Lawn Bowling League this summer? Whether you are an experienced Lawn Bowler or you are just starting off on a new adventure of learning something new, this league is for you! The league will run for 8 weeks on Thursdays from Thursday, July 5th-Thursday, August 23 12:15pm-1:45pm at the Windsor Lawn Bowling Club. (Bowling takes place rain or shine – but not during thunder/lightening). Cost is $35 one time payment for insurance, + $5 per week/participant. Equipment will be provided.
