Dark Sky Night

Saturday, April 6 | 7:30pm-midnight
Point Pelee National Park, 1118 Point Pelee Dr., Leamington

Join members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Windsor Centre) for an evening of stargazing! Bring your own binoculars or take a look through on of the special telescopes on site for the evening.

There are accessible trails throughout portions of the park.  Regular park admission applies.

Everyone is welcome to join South Essex Community Council for a FREE pancake breakfast at the Leamington United Mennonite Church.

Volunteer Opportunity – Earth Day Tree Planting

Sunday, April 28 | 10am-12pm

ERCA is looking for volunteers for their upcoming Earth Day Tree Planting, taking place on Sunday, April 28 from 10am-12pm.
Tree planting will take place at the green space south of Wyandotte, between Florence & Martinique in Windsor.  Parking is available in the parking lots off of Riverside Drive near Sand Point Beach, and people will be there to direct volunteers.

Note: Groups of 10+ are asked to register as a team, but smaller groups/individuals are welcome to show up on the day of.

Meet new people and enjoy a community lunch at the Harrow United Church.  There is no cost, however donations are encouraged.
