Community Living Essex County was presented the inaugural Member Leadership Award from OASIS at their 20th Anniversary conference held in Ottawa in early May. The award is presented to an organization that demonstrates excellence, innovation and leadership in the developmental sector and best exemplifies the interests and mission of OASIS. As well, the award acknowledges an organization that demonstrates collaboration, partnership and professionalism and in so doing has provided an inspiration to others. The award was presented to Community Living Essex County for its work with REAL Change an undertaking to transform the agency’s business model to offer modern, relevant supports within a sustainable and innovative infrastructure.
