jobPath is the name of the FREE pre-employment course designed for people who have an intellectual disability and live in Essex County who are over the age of 16 and want to work!
This six week course is designed to help job seekers learn more about their own interests, strengths, and skills while improving through a combination of in-class activities, learning from guest speakers, and real world experience from day trips to a variety of workplaces in the community.
A short term work placement is also included after the six week course. The job seeker’s interests and skills are considered, along with the business needs of local businesses to ensure the best possible job match for both the job seeker and the business they will be working at.
