jobPath: Your Path to Success!

What is jobPath?

jobPath is the name of the pre-employment course designed for people who have an intellectual disability and live in Essex County who are over the age of 16 and want to work!

This six week course is designed to help job seekers learn more about their own interests, strengths, and skills while improving through a combination of in-class activities, learning from guest speakers, and a variety of workplace tours in the community.

Become a Participant in the Next Session

Are you someone with an intellectual disability looking to find meaningful employment? Do you have a loved one that is “ready, willing, and able” to work? This pre-employment course is delivered by the Career Compass team to promote self confidence and self-esteem, while brushing up on different skills from safe food handling, good hygiene practices, health and safety, to interview prep, boundaries and handling boundaries and stress in the workplace.
