Community Living Essex County is very fortunate to have a lengthy history of support from the Devonshire Mall in Windsor, ON. For over twenty years we have had a gift wrapping booth set up for the holiday season. All proceeds benefit the people and their families we support across the county.
For a month we have over 100 dedicated volunteers manning the booth in shifts of two or three hours during mall hours. Not only is it a great way to give back during the holiday season, but it’s a fun way to spend time with family, friends, and coworkers during the chaos of the season. You don’t even need to be an expert wrapper!
Prior to 2014, we only accepted cash as payment for the gift wrapping service. We are excited to share that we now offer the option for customers to pay using a credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover).
Businesses are now able to show their giving spirit during the holiday season by sponsoring rolls of wrapping paper. Your logo will be displayed at our booth to show our support, as well as included in any promotional materials and publications by Community Living Essex County.
If you, your business, school, coworkers or community organization are interested in volunteering at our Gift Wrapping Booth this year, please take a minute to fill our volunteer application and you will hear back about what shifts are available. If you have any questions about volunteering or the opportunity to sponsor a roll of gift wrap, please contact Tony DeSantis, Manager of Community Relations and Resource Development at 519-776-6483 ext 246 or by email at email@example.com.
If you’re at the mall during the holidays, save some time by having your gifts wrapped at our Gift Wrapping Booth and feel good knowing you’re supporting such a worthy cause!
